Packing your console

How to Pack It Right

Good packaging prevents damage in transit and helps us get started on your service right away. It takes 5 minutes and makes a real difference.

Include

  • Your console
  • Your printed order form
  • Any parts we specifically requested

Do not include

  • Controllers or Joy-Cons
  • Cables, chargers, or docks
  • Games or cartridges
  • Cases, bags, or accessories

Box & padding guide

  • PlayStation or Xbox: use a sturdy box approximately 14×14×6 inches
  • Nintendo Switch or handheld: a medium flat rate USPS box works great — the tall skinny one fits perfectly
  • Wrap your console in bubble wrap with at least one full layer on all sides
  • Pay extra attention to the corners — that’s where damage happens most in transit
  • Fill empty space so the console can’t shift around inside the box
  • Seal all edges with packing tape before attaching your label

How to Ship

We use UPS for all outbound shipments, so we recommend shipping to us via UPS as well — it keeps tracking consistent and reliable.

Use PirateShip for discounted labels

The cheapest and easiest way to ship is through PirateShip.com. It’s free to use and gives you discounted UPS rates — usually cheaper than going to a UPS store. Enter your package dimensions and weight, buy the label, print it, and you’re done. Or drop off at any UPS location and purchase a label there.

Before you drop off

  • Your shipping address is printed on your order form — double-check it before sealing the box
  • Make sure the label is attached flat and fully readable on the outside of the box
  • Save your tracking number — keep it until your order is complete and your console is back
  • We recommend purchasing shipping insurance through your carrier for higher-value devices

Once your service is complete, we ship your console back to you via UPS at no extra charge. You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as it’s on its way.

After You Ship

Here’s the full timeline from the moment you drop off your console to when it’s back in your hands.
You ship your console Drop it off at UPS or schedule a pickup through PirateShip. Keep your tracking number.
Transit — 1 to 5 business days Depends on your location. You can track the inbound shipment with the number from your carrier.
We receive your console We check it in, match it to your order, and get started.
We complete your service — within 24–48 hours Most services are done within 24–48 hours of arrival. If anything unexpected comes up, we'll contact you before proceeding.
We ship it back to you Your console ships back free via UPS. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as it's on its way.

If you’re near Lewisville, TX, you’re welcome to drop your console off in person instead of shipping. We service a roughly 30-mile radius around Lewisville.

Common Questions

  • Most services are completed within 24–48 hours of us receiving your console. If something unusual comes up — like a part we need to source — we'll contact you before proceeding.

  • Yes. Every repair and installation service comes with a 60-day warranty on the work performed. Warranty does not cover physical damage or negligence after the console has been returned to you.

  • We recommend purchasing shipping insurance through your carrier when you ship to us. We are not responsible for damage that occurs during inbound transit — the package is in the carrier's care until it arrives at our facility. Proper packaging significantly reduces this risk.

  • Use the Order Tracking link in the menu and enter your order ID and the email address you used at checkout.

  • Yes — bulk pricing is available for 3 or more consoles. Contact us before ordering so we can set up the right pricing for you.

  • We accept all major credit and debit cards at checkout. Additional payment options may be available — contact us if you have a specific need.
